The beauty of the digital pen is that unlike PDA, which we tested and rejected is that we can leave a hard copy of the job sheet with the site. You can read exactly what the engineer has written about the job before you sign the job sheet, which isn’t possible with PDA. The other big advantage of the digital pen is that it looks and works just like a normal pen so anyone can use it. All the engineer needs to do after you have signed the sheet is tick the box and all the information is sent via his mobile phone directly into our system.
